  1. How much does it cost to place a listing on shoreshome.com?

  2. How do I add my home or rental to shoreshome.com?
    Just click the "Add a Listing" button at the top of any page. Then enter your e-mail address and sign-in. You'll select whatever plan is right for you (Home for Sale, Rental Properties, or Open Houses), fill-in your details, pay and that's it! You'll be guided the entire way and will receive instructions on screen and through e-mail.

  3. Can I add more than one listing?
    Yes. You can add as many listings as you like, all managed under your single Customer Account. You can also add different types of listings, including "For Sale", "For Rent" and "Open House" listings.

  4. I do not trust the Internet and want to phone-in my listing, how do I do that?
    No problem and we understand. Simply go to our Contact Us page and fill-out the form. Someone from shoreshome.com will call you and help you put-up your listing over the phone. But remember, our Website is secured and safe!

  5. Can anyone add a listing to St. Clair Shores Home?
    Yes, but the property MUST be within the city of St. Clair Shores since this Website is dedicated exclusively to St. Clair Shores.

  6. How do I add pictures to my listing?
    Here are some easy steps to follow for adding pictures to your listing:

    1. Go to your Customer Account page (you will have to login if you aren't already).
    2. Under your listing's information, there's a link that reads "Add/Edit Photos" - click it.
    3. You'll now be on the "Add/Edit Your Listing's Photos" page. It provides you with the ability to add 10 photos with captions.
    4. Next to "Picture 1", click the "Browse" button. That will open a window on your computer.
    5. Using that window, locate your first picture, select it, and click the "Okay" button.
    6. Now add a caption for "Caption 1".
    7. REPEAT this as necessary. When you're all set, go to the bottom of the page and click the blue "Submit Form" button.

    Please Remember: You may want to try one picture first to be sure you did it right. Then, if successul, you can just add some more. Also remember, if your pictures are large, they may take some time to upload to the server - so please be patient.

  7. My pictures aren't showing up. Why?
    To ensure 100% quality control of our listing ads, all photos, photo captions, ad titles and descriptions are "queued" for a short period of time before they are made live on the Website. Our editorial team quickly reviews these items for each ad before approving them. All other parts of you ad will always go "live" immediately.

  8. How do I make my listing featured on the homepage?
    You can feature your listing on our homepage by selecting "Feature my Listing" during your initial listing setup (it's at the top). If you want to upgrade your current listing, login to your Customer Account and click the "Add/Edit Details" link. You'll again see the "Feature my Listing" checkbox. Just select it and submit the form. you'll be taken to the checkout page to process your payment.

  9. How much money will I save when I sell my home by myself?
    We charge a nominal flat-rate fee for listing your house on this Website (usually under $200). For every $100,000 dollars that your home sells for, real estate agents take up to $6,000! If an average house sells for $200,000, you'll save roughly $11,800 by selling your house by yourself!

  10. What does "FSBO" mean?
    FSBO (pronounced "fizz-bo") stands for "For Sale By Owner". As the phrase suggests, FSBO refers to home owners who sell their homes without using real estate agents or brokerages.

  11. What does "no real estate agents, please" mean on a listing?
    We provide a way for customers to place a "No Real Estate Agents, Please!" notice on their listings. Sellers may select this option when they do not want to be bothered by constant telephone calls and solicitations from real estate agents.

  12. Do I pay any commissions when I sell my house?
    You will never have to pay any commissions as long as there are no real estate agents or brokers involved in the sale of your home.

  13. How do I turn my listing off (or on)?
    Any customer can turn their listing "off" or "on" at any time by logging into their customer account. Turning a listing off hides the listing from being viewed on our Website - it does not delete it. Turning a listing on re-enables it for viewing on the Website. All new listings are turned on by default.

  14. What do I do if I forgot my customer login password?
    If you forgot or lost your password, just click here to reset your password and we'll send you a new temporary password to your e-mail. If you are still having problems, just contact us here and we'll reset it for you.
